Scott Harvey won the top prize at the third Annual Lahaina Shell Kenny Takashima Halloween Shootout on October 31, 2004 with a 106.8-pound blue marlin.

Harvey’s catch was worth a tournament-record $50,150. He was aboard the Oahu-based "Cormorant", captained by Bruce Matson.

“It was awesome,” said tournament director Jeff Kahl “His catch was just over 100 pounds, which shows anybody can come out and win this tournament.”

The event drew 62 boats.
